Common Sense Solutions for a Better South
More Jobs. Better Schools. Stronger Military.
There are various ways you can define the South, but we focus on thirteen Southern states: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia.

There are differences between these states, to be sure. You've got your country music in Nashville and jazz in New Orleans. You've got your vinegar based BBQ sauce in North Carolina, mustard based in South Carolina and Savannah and the classic tomato based sauce in Memphis. But these states still constitute a distinct South.

With the state-by-state links to the right, you can read up on the federal and state elected officials for each of our featured states.
